PROJECTS / CAFÉ FLORA
Café Flora.
A completely new digital presence is taking shape for Café Flora — from the initial concept to custom WordPress development. The aim was not a conventional restaurant website, but a lively, modern interpretation of a Neapolitan–Italian trattoria: personal, warm and with a clear identity of its own.

01 IDEA / IDENTITY
More than a new look.
The challenge
Rethink an established restaurant’s presence without losing its personal character — while creating a system the owner can manage independently.
The solution
A custom WordPress website with its own visual language, a simplified restaurant dashboard and a dedicated reservation system, including booking logic and automated communication with guests.
02 SYSTEM / CUSTOM WORDPRESS
Built for everyday restaurant life.
Jalves is responsible for the visual identity and the technical infrastructure behind it. The website was built as a custom WordPress system with its own theme, a dedicated restaurant dashboard and purpose-built features.
The menu, daily and weekly specials, opening hours, special openings, notices and events can be managed through a deliberately simplified backend. It also includes the gallery, restaurant information and website copy.
03 CONTENT / IL MENU
Manage once. Designed for guests.
Dishes, drinks and categories are managed in the restaurant CMS and presented on the website in its own visual language. The menu is part of the restaurant’s presence — easy to navigate and true to Café Flora’s character.
Daily specials, recurring offers and notices belong to the same system. The restaurant can update content without rebuilding the layout.
04 GUEST / ONLINE RESERVATION
Your table at Flora.
Choose a date, enter the party size, select an area and an available time: the custom booking flow guides guests through their request. The logic accounts for time slots, capacity and booking rules.
The request is deliberately separate from the restaurant’s personal confirmation. Automated emails cover receipt, confirmation or rejection; an acknowledgement does not yet promise a reserved table.
05 OPERATIONS / RESERVATIONS
A dedicated system behind every table.
Website requests and manually entered reservations are managed centrally in WordPress. Filters, status, reference search and area selection help the restaurant stay on top of everything.
Configurable time intervals, capacities, special dates and defined booking rules are checked on the server. Reservation management is part of the restaurant’s own system and requires no external booking platform.
06 RESULT / MOBILE UX
Character. Down to the detail.
The result is more than a new website: a digital platform that reflects Café Flora’s character while remaining easy to manage day to day.
From the mobile guest experience to the restaurant dashboard, design and custom development work together. The version shown here is still being developed.
